Scripture case

I am pretty excited to get back to the crafting on this here ol blog.  I was glad to do the New year New blog series but I have been missing my crafts.  Did you guys know I competed in One month to Win it?  It’s an online crafting competition.  Yeah I only made it past round one.  But that is ok with me.  Here is what I made for that one round:

scripture case

It’s a scripture case for my oldest daughter “Love”.  I have been meaning to make her one for such a long time and I’m so glad I did it.

Since I made this for the competition, I didn’t take step by step pictures.  {I know bad blogger} but I did round you up a tutorial that can show you how to make your own.

Homeade Scripture Case

Hers is done really well so hop on over and see how you can make your own.

I made mine with drop cloth for the main fabric and some scraps for the ruffles and handles.

“Love” really likes her scripture case and takes them with her to church every week.  I would love to see if you make one of your own.

Thanks for reading
