Chocolate Strawberry Banana Dessert

I made a delicious dessert for my Gramma the other day and I wanted to share it with you.

chocolate strawberry banana dessert

I wanted to call it a trifle or a parfait but I couldn’t decide which one was right so Dessert it is.  It was easy to do and you can get the layers done ahead of time.  Then all you have to do is scoop them in.

Chocolate Strawberry Banana Dessert

1 cake mix

Chocolate Pudding

Strawberries

Bananas

Whipped topping

Mix up and bake your cake mix.  I used strawberry flavor.  You could use whichever flavor you like.  I baked mine in mini muffin tins.  If you don’t have these you could use regular muffin tins and cut them in half.

Slice strawberries and sprinkle them with sugar.  Set aside

Either use prepared chocolate pudding or make it up before hand.

When it’s time for dessert just layer cake, chocolate pudding, strawberries, bananas and whipped topping.  I used plastic cups and did 2 layers.

So yummy!!

We all loved this dessert and will definitely be making it again.  Don’t be stingy with the pudding or it could get a little dry.  I think it would be fun to do this with other flavors too.  Banana or vanilla pudding would be yummy.  Oh the possibilities are endless.
