My sweet girls go to year round school so they are still in class until the end of June. Then they go back July 25th. {I know it’s sad now, but having 3 weeks off in Sept. and again in Jan. is so nice!!} Since I can’t really plan a ton of fun summer outings with my girls, I decided to give our house a summer makeover. Starting with our front door. I wanted to brighten it up and let summer greet you first thing when you come over.
Here is a before:
Not bad right, but not great either. Definitely not bright and summery. So I decided to pick a yummy yellow. It took three coats but that isn’t bad when you are working on a small surface.
That’s definately better, but I really didn’t love the black molding. I decided it needed to go white and I think it MADE the door.

Connie, That is a huge transformation. I bet coming home and seeing that brightens your mood. Shows the difference a little paint and color can make, doesn’t it? Found you at Sugar Bee. Stop over and see me at Quirky Vistas!
