Master Bathroom Feature wall

I have been wanting to do something with the Master Bath for a while.  When we first moved in, it was painted a mud brown.  Bad color for a bathroom.  But I have also been wanting to do something with the family room and the piano room and each of my girls rooms…you get the picture.

The Master bath is a big deal for me.  With my fibro, sometimes the only thing that takes the edge off is soaking in a steaming hot bath.  I do this 3-5 times a week.  So I spend a lot of time in there.

I finally got around to starting it’s makeover with a cute feature wall right above the tub.  Let me first say, bathrooms are had to photograph.  I couldn’t back up enough to get a photo of the full wall.  So I broke it into quadrants and took four photos.  Then I put them back into one for you.  It’s not the best photo ever but you can see the full feature wall.

stenciled feature wall

I used the Eastern Lattice Moroccan stencil from Royal Design studio.

Although hard to photograph, it is quite stunning in person.  I left a border around the edges because I am going to frame it out in molding.

stenciling a feature wall

I really love it  and everyone that has come into my bathroom {which has been quite a few people lately oddly enough} has loved it too.  It’s very eye catching.  I’ve wanted to try a stencil for a while now.  I love that you can get pattern but don’t have to worry about wall paper.

If you like stencils as much as I do, stay tuned…I may have a giveaway coming up soon.

I was provided the stencil to review.  The opinions are my own.

  1. I think, you need to modify it. Because bath room’s color is need simple but gorgeous. That’s i need simply the best.
