Hi everyone. Can you believe that Mother’s Day is this Sunday? I know, holiday’s sneak up don’t they? I’ve got some great ideas you can send to your hubby lol.
A mainstay of Mother’s Day is breakfast in bed. We all know how that goes…mom wakes up and sits in bed for a long time listening to the banging downstairs. Then Dad and the kids come up with Breakfast and you know there is a HUGE mess waiting in the kitchen. But that is all ok when you see the sweet smiles on your kiddos faces. You can tell they put a lot of work into making you a good breakfast, because they love their mommy.
What if you could make it easier…what if they could throw something in the fridge the night before. Then they just had to put it in the oven in the morning and serve it. No waiting around while they bang pots and pans in the kitchen. Enter overnight French Toast Casserole:
This French Toast Casserole is so good you guys. I make it for dinner a lot. You can do it overnight or in the morning and let it sit till dinner. Yum!! Make sure and send this recipe to your hubby.
My daughter came home with this Mother’s Day craft/present a few years ago. She was so happy to make something for mommy. To be honest, she couldn’t wait until Mother’s Day to give it to me. And this was a gift that I seriously loved. Not only is it adorable but what mother doesn’t love to relax.
Isn’t it cute? And it’s so easy to do. Your kiddos will be so happy to put this together and present. It’s great if you run a youth group or are a teacher. Even just to do with your kids play group.
There are also some cute printables you can use with this craft.
If you want an even easier gift, you can put this subway art into a frame. I gave this one to my mom a few years ago and she loved it. When I made it, I used words and phrases that described how much I loved my mom. So it’s pretty sentimental and should work wonderfully for you.
I hope these ideas help you with any last minute Mother’s Day plans.
