Food without a beverage doesn’t feel complete. But any drink or beverage we consume tends to have a load of calories and aids in weight gain. From cold drinks like coke to hot coffee, every single beverage contains 130-200 calories. But there is one magical beverage which is not water which has no more than 3-4 calories per cup.

It’s surprising how green tea helps in weight loss with a minimal number of calories. But it is famous for its taste which is disliked by many. It can be made tasty by adding mint leaves or cloves to the water before infusing the tea bag or leaves.

  • Soups/ Broths:

Having soup as a part of daily meals is one of the smart ways to lose weight. Soups are mostly water infused with flavors and other substances. Until its heavy, with cream and other unhealthy substances a soup will help you in losing weight if it’s replaced with some other foods as a part of your meal. Soups with good water content made with leafy vegetables or some vegetables like cucumber, corn will help you feel full early as well as hydrate you.   • Watermelon:

Watermelon as the name says is a fruit with high water content. This is also a very tasty fruit and loved by many. If replaced by deep-fried and heavily salted snacks, watermelon can make wonders. This fruit is rich in fiber content and very low, calorie content. About 100 grams of watermelon contains only around 30 calories. Due to its high water content, a small amount can fill you up. There are a lot of special diets focused on eating watermelon for weight loss. But even replacing some foods with watermelon is enough to see a noticeable weight reduction.
